چکیده

Breast cancer is the most common type of amongst women. Apoptosis known as a programmed cell death and this mechanism induces death. Dihydropyrrole compounds contain heterocyclic structure these molecules have many biological effects including functioning antioxidants anticancer molecules. In regard, aim research was to investigate how PhTAD-substituted dihydropyrrole affect expression apoptotic proteins in MCF-7 cells. The levels Bax, Bcl-2, cleaved caspase-3 cells were measured using ELISA method. results revealed that CI, CII, CIII, CV, CVII, CVIII, CXI CXII increased while CXIII CXIV markedly decreased Bax. addition, upregulated Bcl2. Conversely, CIV, downregulated Moreover, CIV Bax/Bcl2 ratio. However, CVIII CIX treatment compared negative control. These findings indicate derivative induced potential regulator

Apoptotic potential of two Caryophyllaceae species in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-468 cell lines

Background and objectives: Plants have been used to treat diseases like cancer for many years and today the trend towards their use is increasing. One of the most effective mechanisms of plants against cancer is inducing apoptosis. Apoptosis is a programmed cell death which acts opposite to cell division. It starts in response to some stimuli. Despite the effectiveness of apopt...

Sirtinol, a class III HDAC inhibitor, induces apoptotic and autophagic cell death in MCF-7 human breast cancer cells.

Sirtuins (SIRTs), NAD+-dependent class III histone deacetylases (HDACs), play an important role in the regulation of cell division, survival and senescence. Although a number of effective SIRT inhibitors have been developed, little is known about the specific mechanisms of their anticancer activity. In this study, we investigated the anticancer effects of sirtinol, a SIRT inhibitor, on MCF-7 hu...

Cell-in-Cell Death Is Not Restricted by Caspase-3 Deficiency in MCF-7 Cells

PURPOSE Cell-in-cell structures are created by one living cell entering another homotypic or heterotypic living cell, which usually leads to the death of the internalized cell, specifically through caspase-dependent cell death (emperitosis) or lysosome-dependent cell death (entosis). Although entosis has attracted great attention, its occurrence is controversial, because one cell line used in i...

Synthesis Pyrano [2,3-c] Pyrazole-based compounds to induce apoptosis by reducing the expression of anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 protein in human breast cancer MCF-7 cells

Aim: Bcl-2 is a potential target for tumor treatment. The inhibition of the Bcl-2 production is research target of attract in the field of anti-cancer drug development. Recently, the assessment of antitumor activity appeared to be promising for pyrazole derivatives. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the anti-cancer effects of novel pyrazole derivatives (HN1and HN2.). Material an...

Effects of 8-hydroxyquinoline-coated graphene oxide on cell death and apoptosis in MCF-7 and MCF-10 breast cell lines

Objective(s): Breast cancer is a devastating disease related to women. The anticancer properties of 8-hydroxyquinoline (8HQ) and the increasing use of graphene oxide (GO), as a drug delivery system with anti-cancerous properties, led us to investigate the toxicity and apoptosis-induction capability of 8HQ-coated GO on breast cancer cells compared with normal breast cel...
